KDPI moves into Ketchum Innovation Center
KDPI-FM has moved into the Ketchum Innovation Center in downtown Ketchum.
The community radio station announced the move in a news release Monday, and plans to do a ribbon-cutting ceremony in early November.
KIC officially opened in its new location on First Avenue and Sun Valley Road in August. KDPI was located in a space on the Bellemont Hotel property on Main Street.
The hotel was recently sold to new ownership; HayMax Capital of Aspen, Colo., purchased it for $4.45 million.
“We are thrilled to become part of this vibrant locale,” KDPI President Scott Carlin said in the news release. “With KDPI joining the community of businesses in the Ketchum Innovation Center, an important puzzle piece falls into place in the bigger picture of creating a stronger community and economy in the Wood River Valley.”
KDPI broadcasts commercial-free in Blaine County and in the broader region.
