Time is precious during the holiday season, so let’s get some serious business done (and have some FUN) at our next WOMEN’S ENTREPRENEUR event 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 12 at the KIC.
Come for some après ski time!
The evening will “KIC-off” with a 20-30-minute presentation by KIC Leader Kathryn Kemp Guylay, who will walk the group through six “mantras” that can allow women in the group to maximize success in the New Year.
Mantra #1: Change your lens on life. Apply positive psychology to your life to maximize your happiness factor.
Mantra #2: Get some good boots on. Build a strong foundation of education and experience.
Mantra #3: Zoom out for the best view. Don’t be a hamster on a wheel! See the forest from the trees. Have vision.
Mantra #4: Plant your poles. Set incremental goals that are measurable and achievable.
Mantra #5: Embrace the yard sale. Learn from (and treasure) mistakes
Mantra #6: Commit! Don’t be a squirrel and keep changing your mind.
These mantras come from Kathryn’s first book, published in 2015 and set in Sun Valley. Attendees will get a free copy of the book to take home for holiday reading (or a stocking stuffer for a friend).
After the presentation, the group will move right on to the BUSINESS of socialization. 🙂
Our format is a COOKIE EXCHANGE, which means that you:
1) Bring a plate of two dozen cookies.
2) Bring an extra platter to fill with an assortment of cookies brought by others.
3) Take home a beautiful assortment of holiday cookies!
Please RSVP to Leigh (firstname.lastname@example.org) so that we can plan quantities. Excited to see you there!
